Senior Project Manager, Assay Development

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Manager, Assay Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between sponsors and the organization, ensuring positive relationships and resolution of project challenges
• Develop Project Charters and maintain project documentation, including communication plans and study records
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, while providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status and needs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree (MS, PhD) in life sciences, engineering, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of project management experience in the Medical Device or IVD Global industry, focusing on product development
• Experience in managing molecular diagnostic assay development projects under regulatory compliance
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, particularly with software engineers and scientists
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to build project timelines and establish relationships with stakeholders
