Senior Project Manager for AI

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Project Manager for AI Initiatives will manage a growing portfolio of AI programs, ensuring governance, tracking, and cross-functional coordination to drive initiatives from concept to measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain an inventory of active AI initiatives, ensuring governance through regular check-ins and milestone reviews
• Partner with initiative owners to develop project plans, timelines, and resource maps while facilitating planning sessions across AI workstreams
• Produce status reports for executive visibility, tracking initiative health, progress, and key performance indicators

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience with complex, cross-functional programs
• Experience managing technology or software implementation programs, preferably in AI or SaaS
• Strong command of project governance frameworks, including risk management and milestone tracking
• Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools such as Azure DevOps or Smartsheet
• Familiarity with AI tooling ecosystems and a background in public safety or government software is a plus
