Senior Project Manager, Media and PR

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Media and PR).

Key Responsibilities

• Build and refine communication processes that align with organizational values and foster a collaborative team culture
• Manage media-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment on goals and consistency in messaging
• Develop and implement media strategies to enhance visibility and coordinate media training for staff and board members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications, preferably in nonprofit or advocacy settings
• Minimum 5 years experience managing a team of at least two people
• Strong understanding of mental health issues related to Black communities and commitment to mental health equity
• Proven track record of building media relationships and developing effective media strategies
