Job Summary
Providing pre-award support to faculty and postdoctoral fellows, the full-time remote Senior Proposal Development Specialist will manage the development and submission of research proposals for various funding mechanisms, ensuring compliance with institutional and sponsor guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate and oversee the preparation of new, resubmission, and competitive renewal research proposals
- Lead training and provide oversight for proposal specialists within the assigned cluster
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of proposal submissions through collaboration with various stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in academic research administration
- Expertise in electronic grant submissions through Grants.gov and similar portals
- Knowledge of federal and non-federal funding mechanisms and guidelines
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial systems related to grants and contracts management
- Experience with software products including Excel, Adobe Professional, and Docusign
