A company is looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement foundational protocol components in Rust for a custom execution layer
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and security teams to align protocol with user needs and strategic goals
• Explore modern scaling techniques and stay updated on Ethereum fundamentals and innovations

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of backend or distributed systems experience, with 4+ years in blockchain client/protocol development
• 4+ years of experience writing production-grade Rust
• Deep familiarity with Ethereum execution clients, including profiling and debugging
• Proven track record with high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems or L2 stacks
• Strong foundation in Ethereum architecture and a security-first mindset
