Senior Protocol Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer to build privacy-preserving zero-knowledge protocols and products.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer distributed system components such as consensus logic, memory-mapped databases, networking stacks, and synchronization logic
• Support infrastructure engineers in maintaining monitoring and alerting systems and participate in an on-call rotation for production incidents
• Make protocols accessible to product teams by creating clean interfaces and APIs

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2-3+ years of professional Rust experience
• Strong foundation in blockchain concepts with experience in contributing to a blockchain project
• Experience in low-level system programming and/or distributed systems design
