Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Purchasing Specialist, responsible for managing purchase orders and collaborating with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders from requisitions for designated suppliers and categories
  • Monitor order transmission and confirmations, and resolve backorders with suppliers
  • Process order amendments and respond to site-specific inquiries regarding order status
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations within a hospital or healthcare environment
  • No specific licenses or certifications required
