Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Tendem project, the part-time remote Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage data scraping workflows, ensuring accurate extraction and processing of information from complex websites while leveraging both internal tools and custom approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage internal tools alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and enforce data quality standards through validation checks

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping including dynamic content and APIs via proxies
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and solid background in data cleaning and validation
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) in real workflows
