Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time remote Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer, the successful candidate will manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, leveraging internal tools and custom approaches to ensure accurate and reliable data scraping for the Tendem project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and accuracy
• Leverage internal tools alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting methods for JavaScript-rendered content

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, web scraping, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping, including dynamic content and APIs via proxies
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and handle anti-bot mechanisms
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
