Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time remote Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer, this freelance opportunity involves driving specialized data scraping workflows for the Tendem project, collaborating with AI systems to ensure accurate data extraction and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage internal tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium) and handling dynamic content
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) in real workflows
