Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time freelance basis, the Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage data extraction workflows, ensuring accuracy and reliability while utilizing tools like Apify and OpenRouter to enhance data collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and accurate delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage internal tools alongside custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and enforce data quality standards through validation checks and systematic verification

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) as part of real workflows
