Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a part-time freelance basis, the Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage data scraping tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in web extraction and processing while collaborating with AI systems and human agents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage internal tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and enforce data quality standards through validation checks and systematic verification

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
• Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs via proxies
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and solid background in data cleaning, normalization, and validation
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
