Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the part-time Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage data scraping workflows for the Tendem project, applying expertise in web scraping, data extraction, and processing to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
- Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
- Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle changing site behavior and JavaScript-rendered content
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
- Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs
- Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
