Senior Python Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Tendem project, the part-time freelance Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage specialized data scraping workflows, utilizing tools such as Apify and OpenRouter to ensure accurate and reliable data extraction from complex web sources in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
• Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
• Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources and enforce data quality standards through validation checks

Required Qualifications

• At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, or software development
• Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs
• Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker)
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2) or above
