Senior Python Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the Tendem project, the part-time freelance Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage end-to-end data extraction workflows, leveraging web scraping tools and technical expertise to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring complete coverage and accuracy of structured datasets
- Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
- Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle changing site behavior and JavaScript-rendered content
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
- Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs
- Proven ability to extract and validate data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets
- Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure and containerization as part of real workflows
