Job Summary
Seeking a part-time remote Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer, the successful candidate will manage specialized data scraping workflows, ensuring accurate and reliable data extraction and processing for the Tendem project.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites, ensuring accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
- Leverage tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection, validation, and task execution while meeting defined requirements
- Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
- Strong experience in Python web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium, or similar) and handling dynamic content
- Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets (CSV, JSON, Google Sheets)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or equivalent) and containerization (Docker) as part of real workflows
