Job Summary
To support the Tendem project, the part-time freelance Senior Python Data Scraping Engineer will manage specialized data scraping workflows remotely, applying expertise in web scraping, data extraction, and processing to deliver accurate and reliable datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites to ensure accuracy and reliable delivery of structured datasets
- Leverage available tools and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation while meeting defined requirements
- Ensure reliable extraction from dynamic web sources, adapting approaches to handle JavaScript-rendered content and changing site behavior
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical fields is a plus
- Strong experience in Python web scraping, including handling dynamic content and APIs
- Proven ability to extract data from complex structures and deliver structured datasets
- Demonstrated experience handling anti-bot mechanisms and dynamic site structures at scale
