Senior Python Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Python Developer to support a geospatial and data-focused program.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Python Subject Matter Expert, advising teams on best practices and development approaches
• Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of Python-based applications
• Design, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy both interactive and batch software

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of Python and/or shell scripting experience
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL)
• 3+ years working in Linux/Unix environments
