Senior Python Developer

Job Summary

To support a core monolithic system for lab order processing, the contract Senior Python Developer will design, develop, and maintain system integrations while mentoring other engineers in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver projects across product, platform, and stakeholder teams
• Design, develop, and maintain a central system built on Python and Django, with a focus on API-driven architecture
• Provide production support and participate in an on-call rotation while mentoring teammates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong system design and application architecture skills
• Proficiency in Python and Django, with full-stack experience and a strong backend emphasis on API development
• Experience with TypeScript and MySQL
• A formal degree is not required; experience and technical skills are prioritized
