Job Summary

To support a dynamic team focused on improving health outcomes, the remote Senior Python Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable software platforms using Python 3, AWS, and other technologies while contributing to architectural discussions and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that adhere to modern software design principles
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and conduct thorough code reviews to enhance code quality

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering focused on enterprise-grade applications
• 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance microservices
• 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code
• Advanced proficiency in Python 3 with expert-level knowledge
• 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript
