Senior Python Engineer

Job Summary

To create robust and scalable software solutions, the contract Senior Python Engineer will design and develop high-quality code for serverless applications on AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop maintainable code for serverless applications on AWS
• Utilize the Serverless Framework to build and deploy efficient microservices
• Lead architectural discussions to ensure secure and high-availability solutions in the cloud

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in Python
• Significant expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with deploying applications to AWS, with bonus points for serverless experience
• BS in computer science or a related field
• Experience with automated testing and ownership of build, test, and deployment pipelines
