Senior Python Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Python Engineer for a remote contract position, the successful candidate will take ownership of backend features and integrations with external systems, including KYC and payment partners, while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and Django
• Build and maintain integrations with KYC, geolocation, and payment systems
• Implement observability across integration flows, including monitoring and alerting

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with Python and strong API integration skills
• Proven experience with third-party API integrations, particularly in payments and KYC
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Experience in architecture design for scalable solutions
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
