Senior Python Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance critical backend services for player wallets and betting functionalities, the remote Senior Python Engineer will take full ownership of backend features, design scalable systems using Python and Django, and ensure system reliability through testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of backend features from design through implementation and production support
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while writing unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language
• Strong experience building production backend systems using Django and asynchronous Python (asyncio)
• Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries
• Familiarity with Redis for caching and state management in distributed systems
