Senior QA Automation Developer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership for automation efforts, the contract Senior QA Automation Developer will work remotely to design, develop, and modernize the enterprise automation framework for the Minnesota Eligibility Technology Systems team, ensuring the long-term maintainability and scalability of the state's integrated healthcare eligibility system.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of automation architecture and frameworks, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Mentor automation engineers through code reviews and technical coaching while participating in Agile ceremonies

Required qualifications

• 7 years of experience designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for large-scale enterprise applications
• 5 years of experience developing automation frameworks using Java and Selenium or comparable technologies
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
• 5 years of experience writing SQL queries and performing database validation in support of automated testing
• Experience serving in a technical leadership role, mentoring automation engineers, and conducting code reviews
