Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their Platform team and lead the test automation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a test automation framework from scratch using Cypress or Playwright
• Develop and execute automated tests for APIs, UIs, and backend services, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines
• Establish QA automation best practices and collaborate with developers to ensure testability of new features

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in test automation frameworks
• Expert-level proficiency with Cypress/Playwright and strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid experience with CI/CD principles and tools, particularly GitHub Actions
• Extensive experience in API test automation and a deep understanding of web technologies
• Proven history of mentoring engineers to foster a quality-first engineering culture
