Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning application quality and release readiness, the long-term contract Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and implement automated testing frameworks, develop comprehensive test plans, and ensure features meet quality standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for back-end services and front-end applications
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and conduct functional, regression, and security testing
• Lead defect analysis, mentor engineers on quality practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation
• Strong expertise in test automation frameworks and proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright
• Experience with AWS services and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of Agile methodology and experience in a DevOps environment
