Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating closely with development teams, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for software functionality and performance in a remote role focused on federal environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality and prevent defect leakage during software releases
• Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans, test cases, and execution reports supporting compliance and audit requirements

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience considered
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for test automation such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Katalon, Jmeter, Axe by Deque, and Postman
• Understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and shift-left testing practices
