Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Driving quality initiatives in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will manage the entire QA lifecycle, perform extensive testing, and advocate for process improvements to ensure product reliability and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire QA lifecycle, from analyzing requirements to executing tests and reporting on release readiness
• Conduct thorough manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality releases
• Perform extensive API testing and validate backend functionality by writing and executing complex SQL queries

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience with a proven track record in testing complex web applications
• Expertise in modern QA methodologies and mastery of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC) within Agile frameworks
• Proficiency in database testing and practical experience writing complex SQL queries
• Foundational test automation experience with tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium
• Ability to read and understand code in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python to support test analysis and automation initiatives
