Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure product quality and reliability, the remote contract Senior QA Automation Engineer will lead quality assurance activities, develop automated testing frameworks, and manage defect reporting and resolution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle
• Develop and oversee test strategies, plans, and automated testing frameworks while guiding QA team members
• Drive the expansion of test automation and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline tools

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems
• At least two years of experience in quality assurance and testing support for AWS-based workloads
• Strong experience developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
