Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end test automation strategy, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated tests using Playwright, prioritize coverage for critical user journeys, and enhance the reliability of the testing suite in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end automated tests in Playwright covering critical user journeys
• Audit existing test coverage, identify gaps, and implement a prioritized backfill plan
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate tests into the CI pipeline and manage execution strategies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering with a focus on automation
• Deep hands-on expertise with Playwright and substantial experience in building E2E test suites
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for writing production-ready test code
• Experience with CI/CD processes and integrating test suites into pipelines
• A proven track record of diagnosing and eliminating flaky tests at scale
