Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the automation testing efforts, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, write, and maintain automated tests using Playwright TypeScript, integrate these tests into CI/CD pipelines on GitLab, and conduct performance testing, all while working remotely in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for UI and API using Playwright TypeScript
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality
- Perform load and performance testing on applications, identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, focusing on automating UI and API tests
- Experience in Playwright TypeScript for automation testing
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with performance, usability, and accessibility testing tools and methodologies
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
