Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of applications through manual and automated testing across front-end and back-end systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and reliability of products by defining test approaches and leveraging AI tools to improve testing coverage and efficiency
- Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Selenium and Playwright to reduce manual testing efforts
- Act as a quality advocate by reviewing test code, sharing best practices, and identifying design concerns early in the development process
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years focused on test automation
- Strong programming skills in Java, with experience in writing clean and maintainable test code
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright, including design patterns like the Page Object Model
- Solid API testing experience and strong SQL skills for validating application behavior against relational databases
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling and version control, with experience running automation within pipelines
