Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Senior QA Automation Engineer will develop comprehensive test plans, create automated test scripts, and execute tests to ensure the quality of reinsurance software while also coaching and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate quality and testing processes into the overall software methodology and deliver testing schedules in time-sensitive project environments
• Analyze data and prepare final analysis reports, summarizing testing status and proposing mitigation strategies for identified risks
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on release schedules, track project progression, and assist in managing resources to meet delivery dates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in the Life & Health reinsurance industry and hands-on software quality assurance
• Strong understanding of SQL, MS Access, and Excel, with experience testing multi-tiered, web-based products
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and UiPath, as well as familiarity with AWS and Azure platforms
• Proficient in Visual Studio, .NET, and C# with a proven track record of managing project testing schedules
