Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

Championing a quality-first culture, the full-time Senior QA Engineer / SDET will advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle, develop comprehensive test plans, and enhance testing processes while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into test plans, cases, and scripts, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve defects
• Contribute to and improve automated and manual test suites for frontend and backend services, ensuring quality through code reviews and best practices
• Perform various quality testing types, including functional, performance, and accessibility testing, while advocating for non-functional requirements early in the development process

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in QA methodology, including both automated and manual testing
• Strong expertise in building and maintaining Pytest suites for APIs and experience with Playwright and React
• Proficiency with SQL databases and Bash shell scripting, along with familiarity with AWS services
• Experience in building performance tests using Artillery or comparable tools
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools into testing practices and a willingness to explore emerging technologies
