Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the test strategy for a modernization program, the full-time Senior QA Engineer will build and maintain an automated test suite, define quality gates, and lead exploratory testing efforts in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall test strategy across unit, integration, API, end-to-end, and regression testing
• Build and own the automated test suite using tools like Playwright, xUnit/NUnit, and Postman
• Lead exploratory and risk-based testing for high-stakes releases and maintain performance and load test suites

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on API or platform-level testing
• Strong test automation skills with Playwright or Selenium for E2E testing and API testing tools like Postman
• Experience testing REST APIs and integration pipelines, including writing and running API test collections
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and ability to trace CI pipeline failures
• Comfortable writing code, with the ability to read C# and TypeScript to understand functions and write tests
