Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer for a hybrid/remote role who will manage end-to-end quality for an NLP-enabled analytics platform, focusing on functional testing and contributing to the automation framework using Python, pytest, and Selenium.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for an analytics/BI product, performing functional, regression, and exploratory testing
• Validate analytics UIs and perform data validation by comparing UI results against backend data using SQL queries and API responses
• Contribute to and maintain the automation framework, writing clean automation scripts and automating regression suites for data-intensive flows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on manual/functional testing of business or analytics applications
• Hands-on experience with data-intensive applications and proficiency in SQL for backend data validation
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of practical automation scripting experience using Selenium, pytest, or similar tools
• Understanding of Page Object Model (POM) architecture and automation best practices
