Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the quality and reliability of software, the full-time remote Senior QA Engineer will design and maintain automation frameworks, implement automated test suites, and collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and automated test suites
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test reliability to maintain a trustworthy automated test signal
• Collaborate with development teams to triage defects and conduct risk-based test planning across critical user journeys

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software testing experience with strong expertise in automation
• Hands-on experience with automation using C#, Java, or similar languages and frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, including verification and validation, and risk-based testing
• Familiarity with containerized environments and observability tools for performance analysis
