Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a Payment Gateway, the fully remote Senior QA Engineer will ensure high standards of quality, security, and compliance through hands-on manual testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and continuous improvement of QA processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain test plans, test cases, and checklists prioritizing risk-based coverage and regulatory requirements
• Execute exploratory, functional, regression, and acceptance testing, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define acceptance criteria and provide early quality feedback during product discovery

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manual QA within web product teams, preferably in fintech or regulated domains
• Strong hands-on experience with various testing types, including exploratory and regression testing
• Familiarity with APIs, basic backend concepts, and CI/CD practices
• Experience with bug-tracking and test-management tools, such as Jira
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian
