Senior QA Engineer

Job Summary

Driving quality outcomes for a global proptech brand, the full-time contract Senior QA Engineer will lead quality assurance initiatives, mentor engineers, and evaluate AI-assisted testing tools while working remotely or from the Sydney or Brisbane offices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing plans and ensure robust test coverage throughout the development lifecycle
• Drive CI/CD improvements and advocate for shared quality ownership across the squad
• Mentor junior and intermediate QA engineers on technical skills and contribute to squad-level QA process improvements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong background in automated testing
• Proven experience leading quality initiatives and driving improvements at a project or organizational level
• Strong programming skills, ideally in JavaScript, and experience testing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Hands-on experience with at least one AI-assisted testing tool or workflow
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes
