Senior QA Performance Engineer

Job Summary

As a key player in a remote environment, the full-time Senior QA Performance Engineer will manage end-to-end performance testing for web and mobile applications, utilizing JMeter and collaborating with engineering and leadership to shape performance strategy across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Perform load and performance testing using JMeter and deliver comprehensive reports to the project team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather performance targets and design test scenarios based on application functionality
• Mentor junior engineers on performance testing best practices and keep abreast of current methodologies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis of web-based enterprise applications
• Proficiency in JMeter and performance monitoring tools like Grafana
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, preferably C#.NET or Java
• Experience with performance testing in Kubernetes environments and understanding of infrastructure components
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with source control tools such as GIT
