Senior QA Specialist

Job Summary

To support a marketing and communications agency specializing in life sciences, the freelance Senior QA Specialist will lead quality assurance efforts, focusing on developing and executing test strategies for digital products while working remotely on a contract basis with anticipated hours of approximately 40 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
• Perform advanced manual testing of web applications, APIs, and integrated systems to validate functionality, usability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, improve testing processes, and mentor junior QA team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with significant experience in testing web applications and digital platforms
• Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Demonstrated expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies
• Advanced experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent
