Senior QA Test Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To lead and execute complex software testing initiatives, the remote contract Senior QA Test Automation Engineer will develop test strategies, create test plans, and perform both automated and manual testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex test plans, test strategies, and testing documentation using established QA standards
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing for complex applications
- Analyze requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and cases, while identifying opportunities for automation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in software/technology testing or quality assurance
- Strong experience with manual and automated software testing, including functional and integration testing
- Hands-on experience with UFT (Unified Functional Testing) or comparable enterprise test automation frameworks
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environments
