Senior QRadar Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the IBM QRadar platform, the Senior QRadar Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day administration, infrastructure health, architecture, and strategic direction while working remotely in a contract role anticipated for 3 months with potential for renewal.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the overall health and monitoring of the QRadar deployment, proactively identifying and resolving issues affecting log collection
- Onboard new log sources, troubleshoot ingestion issues, and ensure proper data parsing and normalization
- Lead performance analysis and tuning efforts to optimize the QRadar environment for efficiency and scalability
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years in IT Security with at least 5 years of hands-on QRadar experience
- Expert-level experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale IBM QRadar deployments
- Deep expertise in QRadar architecture, including High Availability and Disaster Recovery configurations
- Proficient in troubleshooting log ingestion and performance issues related to QRadar
- Advanced knowledge of Ariel Query Language (AQL) for analytics and reporting
