Senior Qualitative User Researcher

Job Summary

Supporting the planning and execution of qualitative research studies, the remote Senior Qualitative User Researcher will conduct interviews and usability testing to generate actionable insights focused on Azure Data products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute qualitative research studies to understand user workflows and experience gaps
• Conduct interviews and usability testing while synthesizing feedback for actionable insights
• Analyze research findings and create reports, presentations, and documentation for team sharing

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in user research, UX research, or market research, particularly in enterprise or technical environments
• Proficiency in qualitative research methods such as interviews and thematic analysis
• Experience with technical products, cloud technologies, or analytics platforms is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Information Science, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
