Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

As a hands-on player/coach, the full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will work remotely to support software developers using the Pipedream platform, troubleshoot complex issues, and enhance team capabilities while engaging directly with customers to improve product reliability and usability.

Key responsibilities

• Support software developers by troubleshooting technical errors and addressing billing, feature requests, and general account inquiries
• Own complex integration issues and partner escalations, providing guidance and mentorship to team members during debugging processes
• Identify technical and usability issues with connectors and collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize resolutions

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in QA, solutions or support engineering, or a related function with technically sophisticated software developers
• Strong hands-on technical skills in JavaScript or Python, with proficiency in working with APIs and troubleshooting API request failures
• Excellent customer service skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical users in a customer-facing role
• Working knowledge of AI concepts including LLMs, agents, and tool calling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
