Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Leading quality assurance initiatives, the contract Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop test strategies and automation frameworks while managing defect reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop and oversee test strategies, test plans, and automated testing frameworks while guiding QA team members
• Drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain clear documentation of testing processes

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development
• At least two years of experience with quality assurance for AWS-based workloads
• Strong experience in developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
