Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will lead the planning, design, and execution of quality assurance activities, develop test strategies and automation frameworks, and manage defect reporting to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle to meet quality and release-readiness standards
• Develop and oversee test strategies, plans, and automated testing frameworks while guiding QA team members
• Drive the integration of test automation into CI/CD pipelines and maintain clear documentation of testing processes

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems
• At least two years of experience providing QA and testing support for AWS-based workloads
• Strong experience in developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
