Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure the accuracy and reliability of data analytics across the Public Safety software portfolio by testing ETL pipelines, validating SQL queries, and collaborating with Agile teams to deliver high-quality reporting capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the embedded quality expert on an Agile/SAFe team, shaping user stories and acceptance criteria
- Design and execute tests for ETL pipelines, data transformations, reports, and dashboards
- Diagnose reporting discrepancies and validate data integrity through comprehensive testing methodologies
Required qualifications
- At least five years of experience in software QA, data QA, or software testing within Agile teams
- Hands-on experience testing ETL pipelines and analytics platforms, particularly with Power BI
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation tasks
- Ability to trace data from visualizations back through its transformation logic and source data
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related technical field
