Job Summary
Overseeing and managing the quality assurance program, the full-time Senior Quality Assurance Manager will ensure timely and accurate decision-making processes while improving efficiency and workflow in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees and manages quality audits to ensure timely and accurate adjudication of cases
- Plans and implements processes to improve efficiency and control costs within the Quality Program
- Prepares and reviews statistical analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or 60+ credit hours towards a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related discipline
- Five years of clinical experience, including Medicare appeals decision-making
- Three years of management or supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in writing or making medical necessity decisions
- Experience managing complex workloads in a Medicare or healthcare environment
