Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their Quality Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion customer experience by designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across various layers
• Mentor junior engineers and drive quality initiatives to improve QE processes and standards
• Track and report on Quality KPIs, focusing on Defect Leakage Rate as a primary customer-focused metric

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in software quality engineering, preferably in SaaS environments
• Proficient in Linux distributions and CLI-based testing
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms
• Basic knowledge of Python/Shell scripting and automation tools
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience with testing tools like Jira and Sentry
